CZT Coplanar Grid Detector | Prosun Semiconductor

A CZT (Cadmium Zinc Telluride) coplanar grid detector is a radiation sensor designed to improve charge collection in thick CZT crystals for X-ray and gamma-ray detection. It features interleaved electrode grids on the same surface of the crystal, which help minimize the effects of hole trapping and enhance energy resolution. This design allows the detector to operate at room temperature while providing precise spectroscopy performance, making it ideal for applications in medical imaging, nuclear monitoring, and industrial or security radiation detection.
